Vucevic after the meeting with educators: "We have reached an agreement on key matters; Historic salary raise"
Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, said that talks with four representative trade unions of educational workers continued today and that they reached an agreement on key matters.
"We continue the dialogue on other issues of importance for the position of education in society and all employees in the education system in Serbia. In 2025, there will be historic increases in wages in primary and secondary schools, and other major changes in the education system will follow. Serbia must not stop!" Vucevic wrote on his Instagram account.
Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, met today with representatives of the representative unions of education.
Representatives of four representative trade unions in education signed an agreement in which they undertake to continue negotiations with the Government of Serbia, in accordance with the current offer of the government agreed at the meeting with the trade unions, Tanjug learns.
For this reason, they decided on a moratorium on strike activities from January 20, i.e. from the beginning of the second term of the school year.
