Alarms sounded: Three dangerous weather phenomena are coming to Serbia

On the website of the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ), there is no weather alarm on today, but on Friday and Saturday the whole of Serbia will be under a so-called yellow warning, due to three dangerous weather phenomena - snow, fog and low temperatures.

As they announced, today in the north of Serbia we are expecting mostly sunny weather, while in other areas it will be cloudy, and in the afternoon in places with light snow, in Negotinska Krajina with light rain.

"Predominantly sunny in the north of Serbia. Cloudy in other areas, in the morning in places with light snow, in the Negotinska Krajina with light rain, in the afternoon the precipitation will stop," the website states.

Three dangerous weather phenomena on Friday and Saturday

On Friday and Saturday, a yellow weather alert for snow is in effect throughout Serbia due to three dangerous weather phenomena, so we are expecting new precipitation as early as tomorrow.

Mostly sunny in the northwest on Friday (December 27). In other areas, moderately and completely cloudy, in the middle of the day and in the afternoon in some places with light, short-term snow.

From Saturday (Decembar 28) in the morning cold, in most places with light, in some places even moderate frost, for the weekend and on Monday moderate and completely cloudy, and from Tuesday, December 31, warmer with longer sunny intervals.

As the RHMZ warned, in Pomoravlje, southwestern and southeastern Serbia, a yellow weather alarm will be activated due to snow and ice, fog and very low temperatures.

In Banat and eastern Serbia, there will be a warning of snow and ice, as well as fog, while in Šumadija and Kosovo and Metohija there will also be a warning of snow and ice, but also of very low temperatures.

In other parts of Serbia, the yellow weather alarm will be activated due to snow and ice.
