Malo Orašje is silent and in pain today, because the day has come when Uroš Blažić will be sentenced for the mass murder he committed in this village and in Dubona.

In front of the murderer's family house, the Telegraf team found the police. We were not allowed to go any closer than the fence.

As we unofficially found out, there is only one man in the house - Uroš Blažić's grandfather. But he does not want to make statements, Telegraf reports.

Andjelko Aćimović and his wife provide support to the families

Andjelko Aćimović, the father of the girl killed in the "Ribnikar" massacre, also arrived at the Special Court with his wife to support the families of Uroš Blažić's victims.

The police arrived: Uroš Blažić was brought to court

Uroš Blažić was brought under heavy police escort to the building of the Special Court in Belgrade, where today the High Court in Smederevo should pronounce his first-instance verdict for the mass murder he committed last year in the villages of Malo Orašje and Dubona.

In addition to Uroš Blažić, his father Radiša Blažić was also brought to the court for the sentencing.

Two police escorts arrived at the Special Court, and the father and son were brought into the court building through the custody entrance.

Today, they will sit in the box for the accused, separated by bulletproof glass from the courtroom, but also from the audience where the families of the murdered are sitting, for security reasons, according to Telegraf.

Maximum sentence - 20 years

The chief prosecutor of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Smederevo, Ivan Konatar, in his final words proposed to the court to sentence Blažić to the maximum prison terms of 20 years.

Although Uroš Blažić has been charged with several crimes, including aggravated murder, he can be sentenced to a maximum of 20 years in prison, given that he was under 21 years of age at the time of the crime and is a minor under the law.
