KC Vojvodina: Visible progress in seriously injured patients at the railway station in Novi Sad
Director of the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, Dr. Dragan Nikolić, told Tanjug that two seriously injured patients due to the roof collapse at the Railway Station in Novi Sad on November 1 are in a serious but stable condition.
He added that there is visible progress in the general condition of the injured.
"Both are in a serious general condition, but stable. You can see the progression behind the multidisciplinary team, but we need to see the further course of their disease development, because secondary complications are possible, said Nikolić.
As he added, complications can be general or local.
"Local ones are related to the tissues themselves, and in general they can affect all organs. The possibility of complications in such conditions is great," said Nikolić.
The director also pointed out that the doctors have hope that the condition of the patients will improve, and that some interventions are carried out every day if there is an assessment that it is necessary.
