Serbia will be covered in snow: Up to 35 cm of snow is expected

In the southwest, south and southeast of Serbia, a total of 15 to 35 centimeters of snow is expected, locally and more, according to the snowfall warning of the State Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ).

In Serbia today, it will be mostly cloudy and colder, with rain in some places, with snow in the hilly and mountainous areas with the formation of a snow cover, and only in the morning and before noon in the north it will be mostly dry.

Sleet and snow are expected in places and in the lower regions of southwestern, southern and southeastern Serbia.

In the afternoon, the intensity of precipitation will decrease. A weak and moderate wind will blow, in the north and east, occasionally strong, from the west and north-west.

The lowest temperature from 2 to 5 degrees Celsius, the highest from 3 to 8 degrees. It will be cloudy and colder in Belgrade, occasionally with short-term rain, but it will be dry for most of the day.

A weak and moderate wind will blow, west and north-west. The temperature will be without major fluctuations - from 5 to 7 degrees.

During the weekend, it will be mostly cloudy in Serbia. Rainfall is expected in most of the country on Saturday, and on Sunday in areas south of the Sava and Danube rivers, while in the north, there will be brief sunny intervals.

In the lower regions, it will mainly rain, in the southwest, south and southeast in places sleet and snow, and in the hilly and mountainous regions, snow with a further increase in the height of the snow cover.

In the first half of next week, it will be dry weather with occasional sunny intervals and a slight increase in the maximum temperature.

On Wednesday evening in the north and west, and on Thursday in other regions, new clouds with precipitation: rain, sleet and snow and a drop in temperature is expected.
