The project for the Memorial Center in "Ribnikar" by the end of the year

According to her, the construction project should be finished this year, and construction will begin when all conditions are met, such as the location and dimensions of the Memorial Center, as well as agreement on the conceptual message that the center should send.

"The working group that was formed and related to the activities around the Memorial Center already had its first session and adopted the rules of procedure. The conceptual solution for what the Memorial Center will look like will certainly result from a large number of consultations, but urban planners, architects, psychologists, ethicists and parents of children who, unfortunately, are no longer able to give their ideas for the conceptual solution. The profession will, of course, come up with both the content and the form," said Djukić Dejanović while being hosted on TV Prva's morning program.

When it comes to the reconstruction of the part of the school where children go to classes, Djukić Dejanović said that that part should have been reconstructed even before the COVID pandemic.

"Complete installation is in a very bad shape and now is really the time to make a definitive project for the reconstruction and expansion of the school. The summer vacation should be the period when the reconstruction will be launched, so that the children who go to Vladislav Ribnikar have the most favorable conditions for learning, education, play and everything intended for children," said the minister.

She also stated that children should be told the truth and given the opportunity to form their own attitude and critical opinion through certain subjects they study at school, but also through impact in peer communication, family and conversations with others.
