Due to the heavy rain and snow that affected the Rudnik-Takovo area during the afternoon, as well as the entire Western Serbia, huge problems and traffic jams were caused.
Among the trapped drivers at Rudnik is Lazar R., who is unable to make it to his child's birthday due to the trucks blocking the road.
"The tow trucks got in the middle of the road, we can't move forward or back, we're trapped. Traffic is very difficult on the entire road from Topola to Gornji Milanovac, where a large amount of snow has fallen on the road," said Lazar for the RINA agency.
On the main road from Čačak to Požega, two tow trucks collided due to slippery and wet pavement.
"Traffic in the town of Tučkovo, due to the collision of two freighters, is moving slowly and alternately, and traffic jams are starting to form, and the police are expected to go to the field. Also, due to the snow and ice, one tow truck was also blocked on the road from Užice to Zlatibor," says Nenad.
Due to very bad weather conditions, a traffic ban for tow trucks is in force on the territory of the entire Zlatibor district.
Also, in addition to snow and slippery roads, huge problems are caused by landslides, which are present in many places in western Serbia, so drivers are advised to be extra careful.
