A strong wind has been blowing in Serbia since last night, and this morning the storm caused problems in the village of Jaša Tomić in Banat.

The village is currently without electricity, and the photos published on the Instagram page of 192.rs show the strength of the wind, given that the trees were uprooted.

"Due to the movement of the cold front, in the middle of the day and in the afternoon, with local heavy precipitation, a significant change in weather is expected: a significant cooling, turning of the wind to a moderate and strong north-westerly and the transition of rain to snow, which, except in the north of Serbia, will cause the formation of a snow cover and that from 5 to 10 cm in low-lying areas and from 10 to 20 cm, locally and more, in hilly-mountainous areas," the RHMZ warning states.

The snow is expected to stop in the evening in Vojvodina, and during the night in most parts of Serbia.
