The snow has been falling for hours, both in Serbia and in the region. The most precipitation tonight was recorded in Tara, Golija and Zlatibor. All competent teams are already on the field. There is currently a traffic ban for trucks across Tara and Debelo brdo.

"The first priority roads are being cleaned and sprinkled. There is wet snow on the roadway in some sections. Winter driving conditions are in effect, so it is necessary to use winter equipment and winter tires. We urge drivers to be careful," Alen Mušanović from the the Roads of Užice told RINA.

Due to the heavy snow, which in the higher parts of the municipalities of Prijepolje and Nova Varoš, there is almost five centimeters on the road, a ban on the movement of heavy trucks has been introduced. A large amount of snow fell in the area of ​​Kaludjerske Bare on Tara, and as you can see in the video, the snow is still blowing.

"The blizzard started all of a sudden, it's blowing so hard that you can hardly see a finger in front of your eye. There is already about 10 centimeters of snow on the road. Winter is definitely not joking tonight," Petar Lazić from Bajina Bašta told RINA.

There is snow on the roads, so drivers are advised to drive with caution. Competent road services are on maximum alert, and machinery has already been sent to the field.

The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute warned earlier today that a sharp drop in temperature is expected in Serbia in the afternoon, with rain that will change to snow and sleet.

In the lower regions of central, western and southern Serbia, a snow cover of up to five centimeters will be formed, and in the hilly and mountainous regions from 10 to 15, locally and more.
