Condition of the injured in collapse of canopy in Novi Sad: "Period of development of secondary complications"
The director of the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, Dragan Nikolić, said today that three seriously injured patients due to the collapse of the canopy at the Railway Station in Novi Sad are in serious general condition.
Now, we are facing with the period of developing secondary complications, said Nikolić.
"Two patients are conscious, but it is still a difficult general condition. One patient is in a critical condition. They are still being monitored 24 hours a day and a multidisciplinary team is monitoring their condition," Nikolić told Tanjug.
The director of the UKCV added that the actions are carried out in accordance with the assessment of changes in health status and complications.
"Corrections are made constantly, it's a continuous process that lasts, we make every effort to improve their health," said Nikolić.
According to him, the entire staff is available 24/7 for any help to patients and relatives.
In the collapse of the canopy of the railway station in Novi Sad on November 1, 14 people died and three people were seriously injured.
