According to information from the field, the explosion occurred in the pyrotechnics department, where a projectile exploded on the production line.

It was announced from the hospital in Čačak that a 36-year-old man was admitted to the emergency department with face and neck burns and an injury to his right hand, who was injured in the explosion that took place in Sloboda.

Four people were injured in this explosion, and the other workers were allowed to go home.

Police and ambulance teams are on the scene. Also, as it was unofficially said, everything is being done at the factory to reduce material damage, which is large according to the first estimates.

The last explosion at "Sloboda" took place three years ago in June, and no workers were injured then.

"A strong detonation was heard, that woke us up. The door of the house shook from the force. Just to end it," adds the frightened local woman.

Residents of this part of the city said they heard a loud scream, and then the door of the house shook. "We have lived here for years, but every time we hear a detonation we are afraid. Three years ago we had to leave our homes for a while, because they were damaged in an explosion in June 2021. We just hope that this will stop , that will not be repeated," said one of the locals.
