This phenomenon is currently most visible from rural areas, where there is no major artificial lighting.

By the way, the aurora borealis is a phenomenon that forms in the upper layers of the Earth's atmosphere. It is most often visible in the polar regions, and the greater the distance from the magnetic poles, the less often it appears. Strong solar storms can disrupt radio communications on Earth, damage satellites, and even disrupt power systems.

If observed from areas closer to the Earth's poles, the aurora borealis is mostly yellow and green, and at lower latitudes the aurora borealis is more often red.
