A strong storm rushes towards Serbia: Flood? MAP weather alarms are on

According to the RHMZ forecast, more precipitation is expected especially in the area from Kosovo and Metohija through Western Pomoravlje and southern Šumadija further to the east and southeast of the country, with an average amount of 20 to 40, and in Kosovo and Metohija locally over 60 mm in 24 hours.

It will be moderately to completely cloudy in most of Serbia today, colder in the northwest of Serbia, and only in the south and southeast of the country will there still be longer sunny intervals with summer daytime temperatures.

During the day, precipitation will be the most in Vojvodina, while in other regions the appearance of light rain will be local and short-lived.

During the night, the precipitation zone is expected to spread over the entire country and increase the intensity of rain and showers.

The wind will be weak and moderate, in the mountains and in the Košava area, occasionally strong south and southeast winds, which in Vojvodina (except southern Banat) will turn to the north and northeast.

The lowest temperature will be from 6 to 15 °C, and the highest from 13 °C in the northwest of Vojvodina to 27 °C in the southeast of Serbia.

Weather in Belgrade

In Belgrade, it will be moderately to completely cloudy and a little fresher with intermittent rain.

Precipitation is first expected in the morning, and then later in the afternoon, evening and night, when the intensity of precipitation will increase.

The wind will be stronger in the morning, southeasterly, and during the day, it will be mostly weak to moderate in intensity and with a tendency to turn to the northeast in the afternoon.

The lowest temperature will be from 13 to 15 °C, and the highest around 19 °C.

Rain, showers, thunder

In Serbia, on Friday, rain is expected in the north and west of Serbia in the morning, which will stop during the day.

In other regions, according to the forecast of RHMZ, rain, showers and thunderstorms are expected, which will be more pronounced in some places in southern, central and eastern Serbia with an amount of precipitation of 20 to 40 mm, and in the area of ​​AP Kosovo and Metohija locally with more than 60 mm in 24 hours.

In the extreme southeast, precipitation will begin only on Friday afternoon, and the maximum temperature in this part of Serbia will reach 30 °C in some places.

At the same time, it will be significantly colder in the northwest (around 15 °C). Occasional short-term rain and local showers are expected for the weekend, which will be accompanied by thunder in some places in the south and southeast on Saturday, but heavy precipitation is not expected.

At the beginning of the next week, on Monday and Tuesday, it will be mostly sunny with a slight increase in daily temperatures, and from Wednesday, a new temporary overcast with rain is expected.

Meteoalarms are on today and tomorrow, partly because of three phenomena

Due to the upcoming rain, the yellow and orange weather warnings for rain and thunder are in effect today in the territory of Bačka, southwestern Serbia and Kosovo and Metohija.

Already on Friday, weather alarms will be activated throughout the country, and due to the large amount of precipitation expected in Kosovo and Metohija, a red weather alarm will be in effect in this territory.

In certain parts of the country, citizens will be warned about as many as three occurrences!
