Condition of the boy hit by a drunk and drugged driver is serious: Ministry of Interior issued a statement

The accident happened last night around 7 p.m. in Rimska Street.

According to the order of the Second Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, Aleksa was detained by the police for up to 48 hours and will be responsible for a serious crime against traffic safety.

Ministry of the Interior issued a statement

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade, Traffic Police Administration, in cooperation with the Second Basic Public Prosecutor's Office, arrested A.R. (42) on suspicion of having committed a serious crime against public traffic safety.

He suspects that tonight in Rimska Street in Voždovac, at the pedestrian crossing, while driving his vehicle "Ford Focus", he hit an eleven-year-old boy, causing him serious injuries.

The check revealed that the driver was driving the vehicle with 0.58 per thousand of alcohol in his system and under the influence of cocaine, as well as that he does not have a driver's license for any category.
