He explained that this phenomenon will bring a drastic drop in temperature, but also snow in some parts of Serbia.

As he stated, the cold maritime arctic air (MAV) directly from the North Pole moves with all its strength towards Europe, accompanied by the polar vortex.

"Due to the development of a deep cyclone in the west and northwest of Europe, large amounts of precipitation and strong winds are expected, the so-called red weather alert for that part of Europe. There is already a lot of rain over Britain and there is already a threat of flooding.

We are currently relatively calm, on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday there will be a weakened wave of moist air that can cause rain in some places," wrote Ivan Ristić in his latest post. Ristić explains that maritime air (MAV) is an air mass that forms above the ocean and sea.

However, until the weekend we will have very warm weather, which will bring temperatures of 26 to 30 degrees. There will be a lot of sun.

"A cold arctic front passes Vienna on Saturday, September 28 and brings clouds, rain and a more significant drop in temperatures, so that on Sunday the maximum will be around 15 degrees Celsius, in places with more clouds and rain," says Ristic.

Snow on Golija and Kopaonik, and in October the Michaelmas summer. He says that the temperature will drop drastically, and snow is also possible in some parts of Serbia.

"There are great chances for snowflakes again on Golija and Kopaonik. So in 7 days we will bring back warmer clothes and most likely winter jackets," says the meteorologist.

However, he notes that in October, the weather will stabilize again and the temperature will rise, and we will have Michaelmas summer.
