Five people died in a collision between a car and a Serbian Army vehicle; Father and three children died
A traffic accident occurred on the Kraljevo-Raška highway when a passenger vehicle and another vehicle of the Serbian Army collided. Five people died - the father, three children and another woman who was in the car, while the mother was the only survivor.
"The passenger car was completely crushed by a military vehicle. Firefighter-rescue teams came to the scene. They somehow managed to lift the military vehicle and move it. The scene was terrible, this is a real tragedy," one of the eyewitnesses told RINA.
The collision between a military combat vehicle and a passenger car happened shortly after 1 p.m.
"During the implementation of regular tasks, a combat vehicle of the Armed Forces "PASARS" collided with a civilian vehicle.
The combat vehicle of the Serbian Armed Forces was moving in the direction of Raška and was in a column under the escort of the military police," the statement of the Serbian Armed Forces states.
Due to this serious accident, the traffic on the Ibar highway was completely disrupted.
A long line of vehicles was created in both directions.
