The Government of Serbia will make a final decision on mandatory military service today, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced.
As he said, a meeting of the Government of Serbia will be held today at which a decision will be made.
"We thought for a long time about what is best, and 60 plus 15 days, I think that is the minimum that someone can offer to their homeland," Vučić said in Batajnica, at the demonstration of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
He added that he expects that the decision on mandatory military service will be made, that is, that military service will be mandatory for men, and it will be voluntary for girls.
