Fight of minors in Pancevo: The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office issued a statement VIDEO

On the evening of September 18, the higher public prosecutor's office in Pancevo was informed by police officers of the Pancevo Police Department that a video of a fight in Pancevo was published on the social network "TikTok".

The fight took place in Braće Jovanović Street, between the Technical School "23. Maj" and the Mechanical School "Pančevo". Four minors took part in the fight, three born in 2008 and one in 2009.

The public prosecutor on duty ordered the Police Administration in Pancevo to take statements from the participants of the event, take other actions to determine the circumstances of the event, and submit the collected statements and evidence to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Pancevo.

In the course of 2024, 144 events containing elements of violence against minors were reported to the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Pancevo. They include criminal charges and reports for crimes of minor bodily injury, serious bodily injury, abuse and torture, endangering security, violent behavior and domestic violence.

Regarding the total number of juvenile cases in the prosecutor's office, 158 persons have been reported to date in 2024, and 156 persons in 2023.
