A strong cyclone is rushing towards Serbia MAP

Heavy rainfall and strong thunderstorms will affect Italy, France, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and the entire Adriatic area.

When it comes to Serbia, as the cyclone approaches, the cloud cover from the Mediterranean and the Adriatic is also getting closer.

Already during the night, there will be cloud cover and that will be an introduction to the change in weather from today.

Therefore, during the evening and night, there will be an increase in cloud cover, and precipitation from the Mediterranean and the Adriatic is already coming today.

Although it will be more abundant in some places, it will be in a milder form compared to our region, especially in relation to the Adriatic and Mediterranean areas.

In Serbia on Monday in the morning in the north and west, and in the afternoon in other parts of Serbia, cloud cover will increase. In the middle of the day and in the afternoon in the north of Vojvodina and in the west of Serbia, and at the end of the day and during the night in other areas, rain and showers with thunder.

There will be conditions for thunderstorms, but also for heavy showers. It will blow moderately, in the Košava area and strong southeast wind, in the south of Banat and in the Danube region, with stormy gusts.

Morning temperature from 14 to 22°C, maximum daily from 27 to 31°C, in Belgrade up to 28 degrees.

Rainy and fresher on Tuesday, with heavy showers and thunderstorms in the morning. Towards the end of the day, clearing from the north. The maximum temperature will be from 20°C in the south to 26°C in the north, in Belgrade up to 25 degrees, and the cold front will bring the most pronounced drop in air temperature south of the Sava and Danube.

The penetration of the cold front, apart from the penetration of a fresher air mass, will also be accompanied by the turning of the wind to the northwest.

Wednesday will bring stabilization of the weather and thaw, temperatures will be above 25 degrees.

On Thursday, there will be a short-term warming, and with sunny weather, the maximum temperature will be above 30 degrees.

On Friday, there will be a further worsening of the weather with rain and showers with thunder.

This deterioration of the weather will be accompanied by the movement of a very strong cyclone from the northern Adriatic, but also by the penetration of a cold front from the northwest, so next weekend, a significantly colder air mass will reach Serbia from the Alps.

If the current forecasts come true, next weekend the weather will be rainy and autumn-like, with maximum temperatures from 15°C in the west to 20°C in the east of Serbia, up to 17°C in Belgrade.

After September 15, there will be a gradual, but not complete stabilization of the weather and warming, and the maximum temperatures will return to the average for September.
