Fatal meeting and iconic lyrics: The two most famous songs of Riblja corba hide a cruel secret

Bora Djordjević left an indelible mark on Yugoslav music, and some of his songs hide very harsh and difficult biographical stories.

The song that made Riblja corba famous is certainly "Doll from the front page", and it is related to the meeting of the famous musician and model Biljana Nevajda Šević. They met by chance, during a guest appearance in a show. While Bora was playing "Doll from the front page", he saw the beautiful model Biljana for the first time, which was the beginning of their love story.

A few years later, quite by chance, they met again in Split, which resulted in the beginning of their relationship. However, this love did not last long, because Biljana decided to leave Bora, and then married another man in Sarajevo.

When they parted, Bora wrote the famous song "Ostani djubre do kraja" and thus ended his love story, but also left a mark in the history of music.
