Šapić, after visiting the elementary school "Laza Kostić", said that the payment will last until the beginning of October, and that they expect that during September, 90 percent of the applicants will receive the money.

He also stated that the deadline for applying for that city aid has been extended by a few extra days and that parents can still apply.

He recalled that the city made a decision to pay money, and not directly finance textbooks, so that parents would have the opportunity to buy second-hand ones, that is, to decide for themselves which textbooks they will buy for their children.
