Students, good luck! A new school year has begun

In more than 1,700 primary and secondary schools, around 538,000 primary and 240,000 secondary pupils will enter today.

According to the data of the Ministry of Education, in the school year 2024/2025 for the first time, around 64,000 first graders will sit in the stands.

New school year brings changes for both elementary and high school students.

The maximum number of students per class has been reduced, the holiday will be somewhat shorter and the dress code will have to be observed.

New measures have been introduced to combat all forms of violence.

On the occasion of the beginning of the school year, the traffic police will carry out controls in school zones and take all measures during these controls in order to preserve the level of safety of all road users, especially pedestrians.

The Pay Attention campaign has also been launched, which will help children better understand how to follow traffic rules and become safe road users.
