Tuesday will be the worst day, by all means
On Tuesday, the heat wave will reach its peak, according to "Hailz Serbia".
According to "Hailz Srbija", this afternoon is the most unpleasant in the area of Belgrade and Sremska Mitrovica for the reason that in those two cities dew points were measured from 22 to 25°C, and combined with a temperature of 35°C, they give a subjective feeling of 44 -47°C.
"There will be isolated showers and thunderstorms in the mountainous regions of Serbia this afternoon. In the lowlands, there are chances for showers in the western half of Serbia. Current is minimal or almost non-existent," adds "Hailz Serbia".
In addition, "Hailz Serbia" announced that Tuesday will definitely be the heaviest day in this heat wave that hit Serbia last week and is still going on.
"Tuesday will be the hottest day in all of Serbia. Temperatures of 40-42°C will be measured in a large part of Serbia, and the east and south-east, drying, winds will blow the moist air mass along the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia," it is announced by "Hailz Serbia".
From Wednesday, showers can be expected in the evening hours, which would bring the long-awaited cooling.
On Wednesday, the moist air mass will return over Serbia and the atmosphere will be extremely unstable.
The formed low pressure field in the lower layers of the atmosphere due to long-term strong heating will trigger storm systems with heavy showers in the afternoon and evening hours from Wednesday to the weekend.
