The heat wave that hit the whole of Serbia also exploded in Čačak. During the afternoon, one of the gauges in the strict center of the city measured an incredible 50 degrees.
"Today, Čačak is a ghost town, there is no living soul. It's abnormally hot, I don't know the officially measured temperature, but the subjective feeling is exactly as if it's 50 degrees. You can't breathe, you can't function," Milica Bogdanović from Čačak said for RINA.
