The prosecutor's office on the case of school violence: The mother who attacked teacher was arrested

The arrested person is charged with the criminal complaint that on June 13, 2024, at the elementary school in New Belgrade, dissatisfied with her son's grade, sent threats to the injured party's life and body, insulted her, pulled her hair and hit her several times in the body area, causing minor physical injuries to the injured party.

As a result of the actions of the defendant, the injured party, according to her own statement, has violated her human dignity and feels fear for her safety, and at the same time, the event in question has caused anxiety among citizens, especially due to the fact that it happened in an elementary school.

The defendant will on June 15, 2024, be heard by the public prosecutor on all the circumstances of the event.

Aware of the frequency of attacks on educational staff members, the Third Primary Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade will propose the strictest sanctions and thus affect the safety of all citizens and the preservation of educational institutions.
