The First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade gave the police an order to determine where, for now, an unknown person shot and wounded a girl in the thigh near Kalemegdan, confirmed prosecution for Tanjug.

Also, an order was given to find the shooter as soon as possible. The girl was transported to UDC Tiršova where she is awaiting surgery as she suffered a gunshot entrance wound. After the grain of the bullet is removed, it will be taken out for the needs of further expertise, announced the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.

It was also ordered to seize video surveillance cameras, establish the identity of potential witnesses and take all other necessary actions. The police are working to establish all the circumstances.

As reported by the media, the girl went to school and in the first moment after she was wounded, she thought that a ball had hit her in the leg. A few seconds later she noticed blood.

The bullet from the air rifle that was fired and hit the girl remained lodged in her thigh, and the wounded child is in the hospital awaiting surgery. Let us remind you that a few days ago a boy (10) was shot with an air rifle in Sarajevska street, in Belgrade. 

Then members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade identified and detained a sixty-six-year-old man who is suspected of having shot a boy in the thigh in a nearby park with an air rifle from the window of the apartment where he lives.
