The mother of the killer boy from "Ribnikar" denied guilt
The mother of the boy who killed nine students and a guard at the "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School was heard today in the High Court in Belgrade, presented her defense and denied guilt.
Miljana Kecmanović presented her defense in detail today, after which she answered questions from the prosecution and the defense, Tanjug learns.
She, like her husband, the accused Vladimir Kecmanović, said that she will not answer the questions of the attorneys of the injured parties, but only the questions of the injured parties.
The judge ordered a break, after which the trial will continue.
At the previous several trials, her husband, Vladimir Kecmanović, presented his defense and answered the questions of the court, the prosecution, and the injured parties, while he refused to answer the questions of the attorneys of the injured parties.
From the beginning of the trial, he has denied guilt for the crime he is charged with, a serious crime against public safety.
In this case, the court closed the trial to the public in order to protect the interests of minor victims.
In addition to Kecmanović, the instructor and the owner of the shooting range where, as is suspected, the minor K.K. learned to shoot.
The boy's father was accused of committing a crime - a serious crime against general safety, because he took the 13-year-old child to the shooting range and taught him to shoot, as well as for not adequately storing weapons in the house.
The boy K.K., who at the time of this crime was not yet 14 years old and therefore not criminally responsible, shot his friends with two of his father's pistols that he took on May 1.
Then on the fateful day, he put them in his backpack, went to school and during the first lesson killed 10 people and injured five more children and a history teacher.
