Doctors fight for her life: Girl sustained serious injuries on the merry-go-round VIDEO
A merry-go-round broke loose in Kuršumlija yesterday, after which several children were injured. The girl (12) is in a particularly serious condition and is in an induced coma at the Niš Clinical Center.
The girl is in a medically induced coma in intensive care and her life is still in danger, as the doctors of KC Niš confirmed for "Blic" TV.
She is also the most seriously injured child, while seven other children are in Prokuplje hospital and their lives are not threatened.
Five of them were referred for home treatment from the Health Center in Kuršumlija.
These are young people from 10 to 22 years of age. This terrible incident happened yesterday around 1 p.m., when a part of the structure of the merry-go-round came loose on the plateau near the bus station in Kuršumlija, where the fair is traditionally held.
A disturbing video is also circulating on social networks where the moment the carousel falls is recorded.
Minister of the Interior, Ivica Dacic, also spoke, saying that two people were arrested - the tenant of the plot and the owner of the merry-go-round. They were detained due to the existence of a well-founded suspicion that they committed a serious crime against general security.
A similar incident happened just two months ago in Lazarevac.
