The Ministry of Internal Affairs warned the citizens of Serbia
On the occasion of the upcoming May Day and Easter holidays, an increased influx of a large number of passengers and vehicles into our country is expected, which is why longer delays at border crossings can be expected, the Ministry of Interior warned today.
As they stated, at the Bajakovo border crossing, on April 29 and on April 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the border police of the Republic of Croatia will test the information system for border checks, which may lead to additional detention at the Batrovci border crossing.
"We recommend that citizens use other border crossings towards Croatia during this time period. The Border Police Administration will take all measures and actions to reduce the waiting period at all border crossings," they stated.
As a reminder, due to the beginning of the spring break for primary and secondary schools, significantly more intense traffic is expected in the afternoon hours.
Crowds are first expected at the exits from larger cities and populated areas, and then on all other roads in Serbia, the Auto-Moto Association of Serbia announced today.
