MIA: We will not stop; You get dosed information
State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Željko Brkić, said today that the police will not stop the search until they find the body of two-year-old Danka Ilić.
In a guest appearance on TV Happy, Brkic said that the terrain that is currently being searched is such that in some places no human foot has ever set foot before. "
At the moment, an intensive search operation is being carried out in the area of Lazarus Canyon, Lazareva Pećina, and sinkholes. Our people are putting their lives in danger because they are searching very inaccessible terrain, we will not give up," Brkić said.
According to him, more than 1,500 members of the MIA did their best to find the child, more than 10 hectares of land were examined in the vicinity of Banjsko polje, and all available resources were engaged.
He pointed out that the police give "dosed" information to the public so as not to disturb the intensive investigation.
Stating that the phrase "no body - no crime" belongs to novels, he said that there is already enough evidence that directly links the suspects to the commission of the crime and that the prosecution qualified it as a serious murder.
"How they moved the body, who helped them, what means they used, that will certainly be investigated and intensive work is being done on it. All questions that the public wants answered, will be available when the conditions are met," Brkic said.
