Schuster emphasized for Tanjug that the State Criminal Police in Vienna has already launched an investigation.

"We have very good and close contact with the Serbian authorities regarding the girl who disappeared on March 26. Today, on the order of the Vienna Public Prosecutor's Office, we published various images, in those images a small child and two other women can be seen. After the inspection of the video material by relatives, it is very likely that it is a missing girl," Shuster told Tanjug.

Previously, the Viennese police made a statement and emphasized that, on the order of the Austrian public prosecutor, they requested the publication of new photos showing a girl who looks like the missing Danka Ilić.

As stated in the police statement, the warrant was issued because the abduction of a child is suspected, and at the same time, everyone who knows the women or knows where they are is called to contact the police immediately.

The Austrian police announced earlier today that the family of the missing Danka Ilić assumes that the two-year-old girl is on the video that was made at the tram station in Vienna.

"After the relatives of the missing girl looked at the footage, they assumed that it was very likely that she was a girl from Serbia," the announcement states.

It is added that the video was forwarded to the Austrian authorities by a man who came across a small child accompanied by two adult women at the "Schotenring" tram station and noticed the resemblance between that child and two-year-old Danka Ilić.

"Serbian authorities then contacted the police in Austria, and the Vienna state criminal police took over the investigation into the suspected abduction of the child," the statement reads.

Danka Ilić disappeared on March 26 near Banjsko Polje in Bor, and the search for her has been going on ever since.

An Interpol warrant was issued for her, and because of her disappearance, the "Find Me" system was activated for the first time in Serbia.
