The Federal Administration of Civil Protection (FUCZ) told Avaz that they sent requests to the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for help.

It is emphasized that the Federal Ministry of Interior announced that it will send its special police unit.

They also stated that FUCZ suspended demining operations and put all deminers on standby to help the vulnerable population.

FUCZ points out that now the greatest need is for heavy clearing machines because there are several places where landslides have occurred.

The area of ​​Jablanica, Konjic, Kiseljak was hit by a severe natural disaster and numerous landslides were reported.

According to Klix.ba, houses are flooded, roads are blocked, and there is no mobile signal.

Mountain rescue service (GSS) Jablanica invited residents to come forward to help the service and firefighters in rescue operations.

"Ne krećite se ulicama ni peške ni u vozilima. Bujice su preplavile saobraćajnice", upozoravaju iz GSS-a.

Iz Vatrogasne stanice Jablanica kazali su da je Jablanica u potpunosti blokirana.

"Policija nas je obavestila da je blokirana i pruga. U Jablanicu trenutno ne može da se uđe, niti da se izađe. Fiksni telefoni rade, ali mobilna telefonija nema signala", kazali su za Klix.ba.
