We are talking about the ship "Katrin", which sails under the Portuguese flag, and according to the data of the specialized site for maritime navigation www.marinetrafic.com, the ship is scheduled to enter the Port of Bar on Thursday, October 3.

The Montenegrin Ministry of Maritime Affairs announced for the Voice of America on Tuesday that there is no official announcement for the entry of the ship "Katrin" into the Port of Bar.

Local media reported, citing reliable sources, that the ship with explosives will not sail into the port of Bar, but will allegedly dock at the port of Ploče in Croatia, which has not been officially confirmed.

Amnesty International states that "according to the Namibian government and the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs, the cargo of the ship 'Katrin' includes explosives intended for Israel".

"Namibian authorities refused to allow the ship to enter their main port in August, citing information from the ship's operator that the ship's cargo included eight containers of RDKS Hekogen explosives for Israel. Statements from the offices of the Slovenian prime minister and the Portuguese foreign minister indicated that the ship was headed for Montenegro and the Slovenian port of Kopar, where they will unload their cargo. It is unclear how the cargo will reach Israel after that," Amnesty International said.

They also state that the head of the Slovenian branch of Amnesty International, Natasha Posel, announced that "the deadly cargo believed to be on the ship 'Katrin' must not reach Israel, because there is a clear risk that such cargo would contribute to the commission of war crimes against Palestinian civilians".

"Namibia has rightly fulfilled its international obligations by ensuring that 'Katrin' does not transfer military cargo to Israel through that country's port. Now it is up to Slovenia, Montenegro and all other countries to do the same and avoid enabling the illegal transfer," she added, according to Amnesty International.

International humanitarian law, AI emphasizes, "forbids all states from transferring weapons to a party to an armed conflict when there is a clear risk that this would contribute to the commission of war crimes or other serious violations of international humanitarian law."
