Panic in Podgorica: The plane made an emergency landing; Bomb planted?
The captain of "LOT" reported to the Podgorica police that there was a bomb in the plane of that company.
The police are on the ground, as well as the police Anti-Sabotage Protection Group.
It was officially announced from the Airport that an extraordinary inspection of the aircraft of the national Polish airline "LOT" began at Podgorica Airport shortly before 5 p.m.
They said the plane was isolated and far from the passenger terminal.
"All other passengers are safe and the rest of the operations are being carried out smoothly for now. The control is carried out according to the prescribed procedures in a synchronized action of the Police Administration, the airport and other services," the statement reads.
The plane from Warsaw (LO585) was flying over Montenegro, but the captain, after receiving a tip, told Air Traffic Control that he had to land on the runway of the Podgorica airport.
The Polish aircraft landed at 4:34 p.m. and an anti-sabotage inspection is underway.
