Horror at the border with BiH: They tried to smuggle a child

The victim was identified during the control of goods and passengers of the regular bus line.

The girl's companion was detained at the Service for Affairs with Foreigners of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the victim was adequately cared for and placed in a safe house in accordance with judicial guidelines for the protection of victims of human trafficking, Fena reported.

According to the report, the victim was assigned a special guardian for unaccompanied children of foreign nationals and victims of child trafficking.

The girl is in the search database for persons wanted by international institutions, and the acting prosecutor is in constant communication with the competent prosecutor's office and the police in Wiesbaden, Germany, and activities are being undertaken to return the child to her mother.

The activities were coordinated by the prosecutor from the Human Smuggling and Human Trafficking Department of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Service for Affairs with Foreigners of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
