Everyone who was at the scene of the tragedy in Kočani is in danger; Doctors issued a warning VIDEO
Journalist Ivona Talevska from North Macedonia joined Jutro TV Prva and said that, in addition to those injured in the fire, everyone who was at the scene of the tragedy is also at risk because there's a possibility that they inhaled asbestos particles.

"The number of deaths did not increase during the night, this is the latest information. The condition of the patients is being closely monitored. One hundred patients have been transferred to institutions in the country, and some are abroad, in Serbia there are 12 plus 12 patients, in Slovenia two, Austria two, Lithuania four, one in Bulgaria, three in Greece, and medical transport is provided for Austria and Croatia, so further transfer of patients is expected," said Talevska.
"Doctor Bojan Trajkovski warned of the harmful consequences of inhaling asbestos after the fire that happened in Kočani. The Minister of Health Taravari himself told the injured and everyone who was at the scene of the tragedy to contact a doctor because there is a possibility that they inhaled that asbestos. In a severe fire, asbestos particles are easily transmitted through smoke and dust and are so dangerous that the International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified asbestos as the number one carcinogen," said Talevska.
"In the meantime, ten people were hospitalized at the toxicology clinic in Skopje due to gas intoxication. All patients who were treated in Kočani were transferred to Skopje, and three more people were brought in for observation due to gas inhalation," said Talevska.
