The Prosecutor's Office suspends the criminal prosecution of 13 persons, invites students to talk
Public prosecutor of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office and spokesperson of the prosecution, Branko Stamenković, stated that the prosecution is suspending the criminal prosecution of 13 persons.

The Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Serbia will, in accordance with the decision of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, grant pardon to 13 persons from criminal prosecution immediately after receiving them, suspend the criminal prosecution against them, which will fully fulfill the second demand of the students in protest, said today the public prosecutor of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office and Prosecutor's Office spokesman Branko Stamenković.
He repeated the invitation to student representatives to come to the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office and talk.
"The essence of the dialogue we offer is not to convince, but to explain our actions over time, as well as to fully understand the students' expectations," Stamenković stated for Tanjug.
He also pointed out that the students' first request for the publication of all available documentation related to the works at the railway station in Novi Sad, which constitutes the public prosecution's evidence, was fulfilled by publishing the complete documentation on the website of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad.
"The third demand of the students regarding the identification and prosecution of all the attackers of the students and professors in the protest, based on the reports of the acting prosecutors, was also fulfilled.
The public prosecutor's offices of our country have so far initiated criminal proceedings against 41 persons for attacks on students and professors, namely against 26 persons in Belgrade, 12 persons in Novi Sad, two persons in Šabac and one person in Vršac. However, we leave the possibility that certain events and persons are not known to us, and we invite students to help us in identifying them," reads the statement of the prosecution, which was read by Stamenković.
