"Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will fully secure the route of the student walk that starts in front of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade this morning and ends tomorrow evening in front of the Railway Station in Novi Sad," said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić.

Traffic on the route will be stopped and redirected, members of the traffic police and the department for public order and peace will be deployed in front and behind the convoy, as well as an ambulance and a water tank, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.

"Although the assembly in the movement was not registered in accordance with the Law on Public Assembly, i.e. five days earlier, last night we received an e-mail in which the assembly is registered, which is a great step forward in communication with the organizers of student protests, because until now it was not the case," said Dacic.

He stated that "it is in mutual interest, in order for the Ministry of Internal Affairs to ensure the safety of all the participants of the gatherings, and above all the students, and added that they hope that such a case will be in the future as well.

The students blocking the faculties in Belgrade have announced that they will walk to Novi Sad today to join their colleagues from that city, and they plan that the trip will last two days with breaks.

As they announced on social networks, after gathering at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, they planned to go to the Criminal Police University, and then to Batajnica, where they would take a break.

Around 16:15 they should be in Nova Pazova, from where they go to Stara Pazova, and in the evening they arrive in Indjija. On Friday, they go via Maradik, to Sremski Karlovci, and should arrive at the Varadin bridge at 6 p.m., from where they then head to the railway station in Novi Sad.

Novi Sad students in the blockade announced that on February 1st they will block all three bridges in Novi Sad, three months after the fall of the canopy at the Railway Station, when 15 people died and the blockade was entitled "Three months – three bridges".
