Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk denied allegations that a disturbing crisis had broken out in Serbia and pointed out that "President Aleksandar Vučić did not fall, but that a prime minister with a similar surname resigned.

"It does not seem to me that at this moment such a political crisis could break out in Belgrade that threatens the interests or security of Polish citizens in any way, nothing at the moment indicates that. I have nothing alarming to tell the Poles in that region and I don't think that it is necessary to cause anxiety in any way," Tusk told reporters in Warsaw yesterday.

"The resignation was submitted by the Prime Minister, not President Vučić, who rules Serbia. The names are similar, the Prime Minister is Vučević. I met with both of them relatively recently and, please, trust my knowledge and based on many years of activities regarding the expansion of the European Union, it does not seem to me that such a political crisis could break out in Belgrade at this moment," said Tusk.
The Polish Prime Minister warned that there are enough crisis places in the world, so there is no need to make up or assume anything.
"Therefore, let's not look for new problems where there are none," said Tusk.
