Serbian Progressive Party strongly condemned the violent intrusion into the premises of Matica Srpska in Novi Sad and the shameful interruption of the ceremony of the Saint Sava Academy by representatives of the opposition.
"We strongly condemn the violent intrusion into the premises of Matica Srpska and the shameful interruption of the ceremony of the Saint Sava Academy, by representatives of the opposition, whom media pressure groups call students.
Serbian Progressive Party appeals to the citizens of Serbia to remain calm and composed and not to react to the obviously anti-Serbian forces sponsored from outside, which are targeting everything that represents the foundations of the state of Serbia and its institutions, and whose ultimate goal is to cause general chaos in Serbia and secession of Vojvodina from Serbia," Serbian Progressive Party stated.
