President of the Serb List, Zlatan Elek, said that he expects that party to win all 10 mandates provided for the Serbian community, because, as he pointed out, this is the only way for the survival of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija.

"This is not our first and last visit here. We will always come and you know that we are at your disposal. What is most important and what I have to say to all of you and repeat at all gatherings is that Serb List is the only one that has the support of the state of Serbia. "We have nothing to ask for here without the state of Serbia. The state of Serbia pays over 32,000 salaries and over 28,000 pensions. That's without social benefits and food allowance," said Elek.

He emphasized that this is why the elections should be held on February 9 and added that whoever is not on the side of the state, is as if he is on Kurti's side.

He stated that in the previous period, the state of Serbia provided a large number of jobs and that this is another way to survive.

"When we go to Belgrade to talk with President Vučić, we are looking for new jobs because we believe that with new jobs, with the employment of people, we can survive here. It has been proven that we have employed a lot of people. It cannot always be ideal. We have to be a little patient, this too will pass," said Elek.

The Ostojić family was expelled from Osojane in 1999, but they returned to their new house, which was built with funds from the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, in 2001.

The Serb List delegation continues its tour of Metohija with visits to the villages of Žač, Goraždevac and Rudice.
