Vučić from Davos: "I am always ready to receive students"; "Now we know that it is about political demands"

Vučić pointed out that he does not insult anyone and does not even know the name of the "fake minister" of Dragan Djilas.

"I only know that Nataša Kandic loves her very much and that it is really disgusting what she did and what she is doing. To take someone's child out to protest... You are well paid by the state of Serbia so that the children learn, and not to perform imaginary and fairy-tale revolutions with Nataša Kandić, Dragan Djilas and others. We need big changes, both in the government and in the state. What about those who are in homes, what about those who took out loans, what if lawsuits come from parents and students who wanted to go to school, and they will be submitted... It's great while you're on an adrenaline rush, while you're deciding the fate of the world. Someone has to be serious, rational and responsible," said Vučić and added:

"I am always ready to receive students. I am always ready for a dialogue, to listen to them, to see what is not fulfilled from their perspective because I would like to find out. No one knows to tell me what is not fulfilled. The solution is that the children start studying, and the students... As they wish... They are no longer children".

"Unfortunately, I am disappointed with many professors and teachers, just as I am proud of many of them. That difference was visible even now," said Vučić.

"You saw the case of the school director from Pranjani, who resigned because it was decided to go to school, because the requirements were met, and then they changed their decision overnight, because they received a political call," said the President of Serbia.

Vučić also spoke about the call for a general strike on Friday.

"Then, at least we know that (the students) joined Djilas and others. Now we know that it is about political demands. Time cannot and will not stand still. A day like any other, only you will see proof on social networks. The army is not on strike, the police is not on strike, the electricity industry, healthcare, most of the school system...".

President of Serbia also spoke about the referendum and pointed out that it is important to check the will, the pulse of the people.

"I would like to lose in the referendum, to be relieved of my troubles. Or what Miloš Jovanović and some others are calling for. Can you imagine someone agreeing to tear his country apart to get his hands on power. That is not normal," Vucic said, adding:

"I will defeat them from every place. They cannot scare me. Should Vuk Cvijić, Dragan Djilas, or Pogačar scare me? I fear for this country when I see them".
