Hamas symbols in Serbian theatres

According to the recent writing of portal B92.net, some Serbian actors, spearheaded by Dragan Bjelogrlić, predominantly under threats, concluded their performances in the final days of the year by displaying anti-Semitic and fascist symbols.

These symbols were denounced by governments across Europe, leading to the prosecution of individuals responsible.

As previously stated, and reflecting the sentiments of a father whose child attended this display of poor taste and horror, he conveyed to B92.net: "They are either uneducated or fascists, and their animosity towards this nation and its people is so profound that they conceal themselves behind Hamas symbols," stated the father of a girl who attended the performance of "Nutcracker."

"The red hand, emblematic of Hamas, was prominently displayed throughout France today. French President Macron stated, "The perpetrators will be apprehended and prosecuted."

Macron vehemently denounced such an act.

It appears that the Serbian actors were not informed of the implications of their actions, yet they persisted in emulating their fellow actors from the National Theatre, thus appearing on stage at the Belgrade Drama Theatre (BDP) and Yugoslav Drama Theatre (JDP) and continuing with the bloody-hands waving gestures.

The opposition media lauded the performers of the JDP, who, following the premiere of "Saint George Kills the Dragon," emerged on stage adorned in red gloves. Meanwhile, Radomir Lazovic, the leader of the Green-Left Front, boasted about his "creation" during media appearances: "The day following the tragedy, from the moment we put this symbol, or blood-stained mark, call it as you like, on the government building, it continued to spread. It just evolved into a symbol of these tragic events.  he said.

Lazović subsequently urged everyone to display the symbol whenever possible, stating that "they (opposition) displayed it before the prime minister, ministers, and the Parliament speaker, as they held them accountable for all that had happened."

Although we are being accustomed to Lazovic's fouls, the public in Serbia, particularly members of the Jewish community, is questioning how Serbian actors have so readily embraced the Hamas ideology.
