Vučić on Hilandar: Here every Serb gets encouragement and strength; I will come back stronger PHOTO/VIDEO
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, published a new post on Instagram from Hilandar, where he will spend Christmas.
"This year will not be easy for us Serbs. At Hilandar, every Serb gets encouragement and strength, and I know that I will return stronger to push our country forward even more strongly. Regardless of the force of the pressures and attacks, Serbia must not stop," announced Vučić, with a photo from Hilandar.
"I want to thank the wonderful monks and novices for guarding all that belongs to our lineage," he wrote in the description of the previous post on Instagram.
"Happy Christmas to our people, wherever they live! We will save Serbia and we will not allow anyone to return it to the past! Long live Serbia," Vučić said earlier.
"And today on Christmas Day, a beautiful day here in Greece, I just want to wish merry Christmas to our people, wherever our people live, not only in Serbia, but in the entire region, all over the world. To wish them a joyful Christmas and the best possible year. This year will not be easy for us Serbs. They will try to put pressure on us from different sides, they will try to open topics that have been closed for a long time, they will try to cut and tear our territory as they have not succeeded in the previous ten or 12 years, thus taking us back to the past. We will never agree to that. Whenever I came to Hilandar, I had good, gentle thoughts. I knew how much those who ruled in the past invested in Hilandar, how much they loved it, how much they took care of it, how much they cared about its future, knowing that they also care about the future of Serbia. That's why I'm sure that even today, after attending the liturgy on Christmas Day and attending the Christmas vigil morning return to the liturgy stronger and stronger and together with you, dear citizens, succeed in preserving Serbia and continue to defend it and continue to grow Serbia faster than other countries. Long live Serbia! Merry Christmas and Christ is born," said Vučić in a video message.
President of Serbia also spoke when he was close to Hilandar.
"Close proximity to the sanctuary. There are no words to describe the feelings when you approach Hilandar," wrote Vučić.
Let's recall that in the morning, at the reception at the Presidency for children of Serbian nationality from Montenegro and Romania, after bringing in the Christmas tree, Vučić said that he is always happy when he can spend the holidays among our children from the surrounding area.
