President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, gave an interview to the largest and most important media house in the United Arab Emirates - "Aletihad".
"In Serbia, the United Arab Emirates is considered a true friend, a brotherly country. We admire and I personally admire His Highness Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He is one of the most outstanding and important world leaders today. I believe that he will succeed in contributing to peace in world with the new Trump administration. He is able to talk to both Putin and Zelensky, to talk to everyone and understand everyone's position. Having such a good friend is very important for us," Vucic said.
"When I noticed how much money the UAE invests in modern technologies, taking the best from different parts of the world, which is something that makes your country unstoppable on the way forward. It is our window of opportunity to learn more about how to implement many things that have become normal in the UAE," said the President of Serbia.
"We are friends and brothers, but people do not know the fact that when we were facing a difficult financial situation 10 years ago, when no one wanted to help us, when our salaries and pensions were low, His Highness helped us a lot financially by giving us loan under very favorable conditions. And he did it again in time of Coronavirus pandemic, and we will never forget it," explained Vučić.
