Vučić brought Yule log to the Presidency of Serbia: Today is the day of reconciliation and generosity VIDEO
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, brought Yule log to the Presidency of Serbia.
The Yule log was consecrated in the hall of the building by Bishop Peter, and apart from the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the presentation of the Yule log was attended by Serbian children from Romania and Montenegro, who are staying in Belgrade for the Christmas holidays.
Vučić hosted a reception for them in the Presidency building.
During the visit, the children will visit the National Museum, the Red Star Museum, the Winter Fairy Tale in Belgrade Waterfront, Kalemegdan, the Church of Saint Sava, the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
After the prayer was read, Vučić addressed the crowd.
"Happy Christmas. Today we are preparing for the most joyous Christian holiday. Today is the day of reconciliation and gentleness. Today is a holiday, tomorrow is the happiest holiday. I am always happy when I can spend that time with our children from the region. Belgrade is yours as much as it is ours," Vucic said.
As he said, children like to go to the St. Sava Temple the most.
"I want to congratulate Republic of Srpska on its birthday in advance. Let us be even closer. Merry Christmas Eve, Merry Christmas and Christ is born," concluded Vučić.
