Terrible traffic accident; Babies are fighting for their lives PHOTO
There was a traffic accident on the Novi Sad - Žabalj road, and according to initial information, several people were injured.
Among the injured are twin girls who are only one month old, Tanjug said.
The accident happened, as stated, on the Zrenjanin road, in the municipality of Žabalj.
The accident happened around 12:30, when one vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and directly collided with another, after which traffic was stopped.
In the accident, two babies, twins, aged one month, were seriously injured and the doctors are fighting for their lives.
"According to the words of the spokesperson of the Institute for Emergency Medicine, Dr. Zoran Krulj, their team came to the aid of the Žabalj emergency service. The Novi Sad emergency team treated and transported two male persons aged (43) and (34) and one female person aged (34). All of them were transported to the Emergency Center with multiple traumatic injuries," the post on Instagram reads.
The investigation is over, but traffic is still at hault.
