As she points out, this judgment sends a strong social message about the importance of prevention and raising children, and emphasizes that such tragic cases can be prevented if the child is not neglected.

"We expected such a verdict. It was absolutely based on well-founded evidence that was collected in a completely legal manner and submitted to the court for inspection. So the verdict was expected for us. The fact that both Miljana and Vladimir Kecmanović were accused of child neglect, I think is very important, considering that it will somehow send a message to society about the importance of prevention and the importance of raising a child. This could definitely have been prevented if the child had not been neglected. This is also an important message to society that something like this should be done, so it wouldn't happen again," says Ninela Radicevic.

She points out that they are not satisfied with the verdict, because no one bears responsibility for the murder of the nine children and the guard Dragan.

"Despite this verdict, no one bears responsibility for the murder of the nine children and Dragan, and in that sense, I can speak on my own behalf, that I will simply continue through all legitimate channels to fight for this case to have an epilogue and for them to be blamed for the course of events that led to this," says Ninela.

Asked if she was referring to those who knew that something like this could happen, Ninela answers: "Well, everything has to be proven now, but I think it is very important for the whole society that this case gets an epilogue in terms of criminal responsibility for the committed mass murder, and that is an absolute priority and not only for me, I think it should be a priority for this society for this case to have such an epilogue," says Ninela Radičević.

Let us remind you that today in the building of the Palace of Justice, the judge of the High Court in Belgrade pronounced the verdict on Vladimir and Miljana Kecmanović, the parents of the killer boy who committed the massacre at the elementary school "Vladislav Ribnikar".
