Vučić handed over employment contracts to the best medical students; "I'm proud" PHOTO/VIDEO
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, presented employment contracts to the best graduates of medical faculties and secondary medical schools in Serbia at a formal reception.
Vučić congratulated the best graduates of medical faculties and secondary medical schools in Serbia and said that as the best among their peers, they received the respect of the state and the obligation to treat people in Serbia and help them preserve their health.
"I am proud that today, for the sixth time, it seems to me, we are awarding employment contracts. That was our idea at one time, that is our job. And all the young people in the hall, and it is normal that somewhere they always have a dose of reserve, if not resistance to those in power, especially in the era of social networks, if not today, tomorrow they will feel pride because of what they witnessed today," said Vučić in the Palace of Serbia.
He congratulated all those who received contracts for their excellence, responsibility and serious approach, as well as for understanding that life is not simple and that it entails obligations and hard and painstaking work.
"Today, when you leave this hall, you are not just Aleksandra, Bogdan, Danijela, Marija or anyone else. You are someone who, as the best among your peers, has received the respect of your country and received the obligation to treat people in our country in the best possible way, to help them in what is most important for them, which is the preservation of their health. And when I say that, there is no greater responsibility and no more important profession than yours, but there is nothing more humane and there is nothing more beautiful", Vucic said.
As he added, every life you save, every child you bring from crying to smiling - everything you manage to do is your result.
"So far, you have also distinguished yourself from others by your dedication, diligent, hard work. I would also like to thank your parents, those who taught you that work, obligations and responsibility, sleepless nights, acquired knowledge, exams with the highest marks, all those sacrifices, how that made sense. Keep dreaming big and I'm absolutely sure you'll succeed," said Vučić.
Tatjana Novaković, dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Pristina, with temporary headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica, spoke at the ceremony.
