Consultations in the Parliament have started; Again, Part of the opposition does not attend

The meeting was attended by representatives of the ruling coalition from the Serbian Progressive Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians, the Justice and Reconciliation Party, PUPS, JS, as well as representatives of the opposition parliamentary groups "We - Voice of the People", "We - voice from the people Dr. Branimir Nestorović".

The consultations were convened by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ana Brnabić, who yesterday invited all parliamentary groups to come to the parliament for a meeting and once again said that she would extend her hand to the dialogue.

She expressed her hope that everyone will respond to the invitation because it is necessary to further agree on the composition of the committee, working bodies, deputy chairpersons of the committee, so that she can convene the committees next week and start their work.

The first meeting of the board, according to the Rules of Procedure, is convened by the president of the National Assembly, and until the election of the board president, the first meeting is chaired by the oldest member of the board present.

At the first session, the board elects, from among its members, the chairman and deputy chairman of the board.

The committee's task is to consider proposals for laws and other acts submitted to the National Assembly, review the state of policy management by the Government, monitor the execution of laws and other general acts by the Government and other state authorities and bodies, as well as to consider other issues within the competence of the National Assembly.

Representatives of the coalition "Serbia against violence" and the coalition "NADA" did not appear at the previous consultations regarding the election of the vice-president of the National Assembly.
